What's Devi Pooja without drawing baby devi's feet in Alta all over the house from the main entrance to the Pooja room? Our attempt to capture the tiny baby alta red feet for placing them all over the house like you'd place Rangoli floor tiles!
We work with Handlooms & all our products are Handcrafted with love by our talented artisans & masters. Since our making process is entirely by hand, slight aberrations in textile, printing, painting, embroidery and sewing are bound to happen and cannot be considered as “damaged.” No two pieces will be alike in anything Handmade & that makes each piece unique.
Colour Variations:
While we photograph only in natural light and try our best to make sure that the colours shown on our website are accurate, actual colours may vary a little. The precise colour of the product may vary due to colour variability in computers, laptops, screen monitors, mobiles, tablets and or other devices screen peculiarities or resolution. We try to give as many colour choices as possible per design & give you actual product swatches as colour options on our website. Please be aware that we will not be responsible if the colour is not what you expected it to be at the time of purchase. Because all our products are custom made and cannot be returned for reasons of colour, please make sure that you understand that colour variations are possible from our photography of the actual products.
Size:
We share our standard size chart for all our products on our website. All our stitched products come with extra margin & stitches should you need to alter this. We also offer unstitched fabric with artwork appliqued for most of our designs as an option. We stitch as per your unique order that is a combination of Design, Fabric, Colour, Sleeves or Sleeveless so it is a custom made for you & cannot be returned for reasons of wrong size.
Care for Fabrics:
- Preferably always dry clean. Or, gentle hand wash in cold water.
- Do not machine wash.
- Do not soak in water.
- Always dry in shade.
- Never use detergents or chemicals on the painting/embroidery/screen printing.
- Always iron the painting/embroidery/screen printing inside out.

Paying tribute to this beautiful tradition we all grew up with of drawing Maa’s footprints with Alta or literally dipping a baby’s feet in Alta & making them walk & stumble like a baby would! Remember those fun times? Well we are happy to recreate this nostalgia in the month that celebrates the arrival of Maa अबnoरmal ishtyle!
Presenting “Jhankaar Alta Kadam Miniature set of 8 - Rangoli Floor Tiles” to bring Maa Durga & festive cheer into your homes. Completely free hand painted pair of baby feet in Alta red & embellished with ablas is our imagination of how baby Durga’s feet would look!
8 tiny feet handpainted that can be used during your Pujas. Use them alongside the 12” Aishwaryam & Saraswati Kolams or the Durga Pooja & Saraswati Pooja Chowki or just on their own; you will surely love it & so will your guests. Makes for an ideal gift too.
