We work with Handlooms & all our products are Handcrafted with love by our talented artisans & masters. Since our making process is entirely by hand, slight aberrations in textile, printing, painting, embroidery and sewing are bound to happen and cannot be considered as “damaged.” No two pieces will be alike in anything Handmade & that makes each piece unique.

While we photograph only in natural light and try our best to make sure that the colours shown on our website are accurate, actual colours may vary a little. The precise colour of the product may vary due to colour variability in computers, laptops, screen monitors, mobiles, tablets and or other devices screen peculiarities or resolution. We try to give as many colour choices as possible per design & give you actual product swatches as colour options on our website. Please be aware that we will not be responsible if the colour is not what you expected it to be at the time of purchase. Because all our products are custom made and cannot be returned for reasons of colour, please make sure that you understand that colour variations are possible from our photography of the actual products.
Size:
We share our standard size chart for all our products on our website. All our stitched products come with extra margin & stitches should you need to alter this. We also offer unstitched fabric with artwork appliqued for most of our designs as an option. We stitch as per your unique order that is a combination of Design, Fabric, Colour, Sleeves or Sleeveless so it is a custom made for you & cannot be returned for reasons of wrong size.
Care for Fabrics:
- Preferably always dry clean. Or, gentle hand wash in cold water.
- Do not machine wash.
- Do not soak in water.
- Always dry in shade.
- Never use detergents or chemicals on the painting/embroidery/screen printing.
- Always iron the painting/embroidery/screen printing inside out.

Taamarai or Lotus is a symbol for purity, rebirth, and strength. The lotus rises from the mud & marsh yet is beautiful without stains, hence it is often viewed as a symbol of purity. I always look at the Lotus as an allegory for a way of Life - to remain calm & graceful under fire, stress, muck & grime.

Presenting Taamarai Saris in pure handloom Kasavu with silver kara or border from the Kuthampilly looms embellished with lotuses embroidered in the first 2 mtrs of the sari from the pallu end & along the bottom of the sari in the pleats area revealing the lotus blooms as you walk ever so gracefully in our sari. The embroidery is done with such workmanship that the front & back look beautiful.
The aanchal of the sari is finished with beautiful pink tassles to give it a classy, understated elegant look.
The sari does not have a running blouse piece but our Taamarai Cholis perfectly complement the Sari. Buy & wear them together for that trendy look.
