Colour Variations:

We share our standard size chart for all our products on our website. All our stitched products come with extra margin & stitches should you need to alter this. Jadai Alangaaram or Hair Decoration is what you will associate with every bride or dancer in South India.

A nethipatti on the forehead (mathapatti), rakkodis in the shape of sun & moon on either side of the hair parting, a bun with a Rakkodi in the centre & malli poo (jasmine) gajras & roses all around the bun & a long tight plait adorned with Jadainagam (a hair ornament like a winding serpent on the plait), flowers & kunjalam (tassles)!

There is something so beautiful about decorated & bejeweled hair isn’t it? Now, you don’t have to be a bride or dancer to copy these looks.

Presenting “Shringaar - Jadainagam” a stunning bejeweled Jadainagam with embroidered Rakkodis. Rakkodi is an ornament worn on the hair or a jooda around which flowers are arranged. This Rakkodi with 2 peacocks or iru-thalai mayil handmade in ari, red & green stones & malli poo in white silk thread embroidery is made to look as close to the original jadainagam version & the result is a stunning work of exemplary art. Fitted across the back of this katori style choli with frill detailing around the sleeves you need nothing more to stand out in a function!

Yet another eclectic mix this choli; a marriage of Bandhani from Gujarat with Jadainagam from Tamil Nadu. A Gharchola is the first gift a Gujarati bride receives from her in-laws & we couldn’t think of anything more apt for our Jadainagam than this. A perfect mix & match choli for any function you attend; in person or virtually!

Material: Gajji silk gharchola with handmade bandhani in a classic Ivory base with Maroon bandhani & zari chowkdaa

Gajji Silk fabric is fine quality handwoven fabric made with mixed silk and cotton threads to create a textile that is simple cotton on one side and a rich appearance of glistering silk on the other.

Please note that colours and tones shown here are as close to the original as possible. Small variations may occur due to light, individual screen peculiarities or resolution.
