We work with Handlooms & all our products are Handcrafted with love by our talented artisans & masters. Since our making process is entirely by hand, slight aberrations in textile, printing, painting, embroidery and sewing are bound to happen and cannot be considered as “damaged.” No two pieces will be alike in anything Handmade & that makes each piece unique.
While we photograph only in natural light and try our best to make sure that the colours shown on our website are accurate, actual colours may vary a little. The precise colour of the product may vary due to colour variability in computers, laptops, screen monitors, mobiles, tablets and or other devices screen peculiarities or resolution. We try to give as many colour choices as possible per design & give you actual product swatches as colour options on our website. Please be aware that we will not be responsible if the colour is not what you expected it to be at the time of purchase. Because all our products are custom made and cannot be returned for reasons of colour, please make sure that you understand that colour variations are possible from our photography of the actual products.
We share our standard size chart for our stitched ready to wear range on our website. All our stitched products come with extra margin & stitches should you need to alter this. We also offer unstitched fabric with artwork appliqued for most of our designs as an option. We stitch as per your unique order that is a combination of Design, Fabric, Colour, Sleeves or Sleeveless so it is a custom made for you & cannot be returned for reasons of wrong size.
- Preferably always dry clean. Or, gentle hand wash in cold water.
- Do not machine wash.
- Do not soak in water.
- Always dry in shade.
- Never use detergents or chemicals on the painting/embroidery/screen printing.
- Always iron the painting/embroidery/screen printing inside out.

Each Choli has Madhubani hand painting & Ajrakh hand block printing.
Madhubani Art or Mithila painting is a style of hand painting, practiced in the Mithila region of India & named after Madhubani District of Bihar, India which is where it originated. Madhubani painting has received GI (Geographical Indication) status. Madhubani art has five distinctive styles: Bharni, Katchni, Tantrik, Godna and Kohbar that range from gods & goddesses to daily life & symbols.
Ajrakh is a block-printed textile that is resist-dyed using natural dyes. including indigo and madder.
Altogether, there are 13 stages in block printing.
Material: Dupion Silk. Dupion is the recycled yarn of mulberry silk from Bangalore.
Madhubani is done on natural tussar silk.
Colors: Available in 2 options; Madhubani in Red or Black on a Madder red dyed base.

Sizes: The choli comes in standard ready to wear FREE sizes that can be adjusted from 36 to 42!
