We work with Handlooms & all our products are Handcrafted with love by our talented artisans & masters. Since our making process is entirely by hand, slight aberrations in textile, printing, painting, embroidery and sewing are bound to happen and cannot be considered as “damaged.” No two pieces will be alike in anything Handmade & that makes each piece unique.
Colour Variations:
While we photograph only in natural light and try our best to make sure that the colours shown on our website are accurate, actual colours may vary a little. The precise colour of the product may vary due to colour variability in computers, laptops, screen monitors, mobiles, tablets and or other devices screen peculiarities or resolution. We try to give as many colour choices as possible per design & give you actual product swatches as colour options on our website. Please be aware that we will not be responsible if the colour is not what you expected it to be at the time of purchase. Because all our products are custom made and cannot be returned for reasons of colour, please make sure that you understand that colour variations are possible from our photography of the actual products.
Size:
We share our standard size chart for all our products on our website. All our stitched products come with extra margin & stitches should you need to alter this. We also offer unstitched fabric with artwork appliqued for most of our designs as an option. We stitch as per your unique order that is a combination of Design, Fabric, Colour, Sleeves or Sleeveless so it is a custom made for you & cannot be returned for reasons of wrong size.
Care for Fabrics:
- Preferably always dry clean. Or, gentle hand wash in cold water.
- Do not machine wash.
- Do not soak in water.
- Always dry in shade.
- Never use detergents or chemicals on the painting/embroidery/screen printing.
- Always iron the painting/embroidery/screen printing inside out.

Who can forget her sensuous portrayal of the courtesan Vasantasenā & her love affair with the impoverished Brahmin Chārudatta in Utsav (1984)based on Śūdraka’s Mricchakatika and the rare duet between Lata & Asha

Rekha as Vasantasena handpainted & appliquéd with select Jewellery hand encrusted on each choli. Each piece is handcrafted by a bunch of talented artists with a lot of love for the art & crafts.
Material : Metallic silver shimmer cotton blend with lining.

Choli can be made sleeveless or with sleeves.
Pattern: A typical choli you have come to associate with Rekha. Fitted. High neck. Deep & broad neck in the front. Hand pleated around the neck & sleeves for some drama. You can’t have Rekha & no drama can you?
Pairing: You are only limited by your own imagination. I have paired this choli with a Kasavu with silver zari. My friend decided to pair her choli with a Black kanjivaram that has multi color temples. You can pair this with a traditional or trendy sari, daytime or evening wear sari, corporate or party wear sari...go on play with your imagination.
